Our annual Christmas Party & Potluck is officially SOLD OUT, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the overwhelming love and support from our Cebuano community here in Oregon and Southwest Washington! This year’s celebration will be held at the Milwaukie Community Center on Sunday, December 14, 2025, and promises to be one of our most joyful holiday gatherings yet. Our 2025 Summer Picnic was a joyful and unforgettable celebration! The Cebuano Speaking Organization of Oregon & SW Washington brought the spirit of Mini Mardi Gras to Cook Park, turning Shelter #4 into a lively parade of color, music, and community pride. CSO’s Christmas party is a highly anticipated annual event that brings together members of the Cebuano Speaking Organization and their families to celebrate the festive season. The event is a time for CSO members to bond, share traditions, and extend their support for charitable causes, including a special donation drive for the Paper & Pencil Project, which benefits underprivileged students in the Philippines. This year, the event will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the Juanita Pohl Center in Tualatin, OR, from 2:00 - 7:00 PM.
CSO’s picnic on August 24th at Cook Park in Tualatin was a great success, with a lively turnout and a fantastic atmosphere. The event, themed “Reggae,” brought a fun and relaxed vibe, with reggae music setting the tone for a day of celebration and unity. Members and their families enjoyed a beautiful summer day, indulging in a variety of Filipino and Caribbean-inspired dishes, thanks to the generous contributions from CSO families. The picnic was filled with lively conversations, games, and activities, which encouraged bonding and fostered a deeper sense of community within the CSO. The reggae theme helped create a laid-back and vibrant atmosphere, allowing attendees to unwind and enjoy each other's company while celebrating their shared heritage.
